Dr. Mark Regnerus is an affiliate professor of sociology at the University of Texas at Austin (PhD, 2000, College of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) and a faculty affiliate at the university’s Inhabitants Investigation Middle. Creator of over thirty published articles or blog posts and e-book chapters, his analysis is in the areas of sexual habits, religion, and family. He has authored two publications, Premarital Intercourse in America: How Youthful People in america Meet up with, Mate, and Think about Marrying (Oxford, 2011) and Forbidden Fruit: Sex and Faith in the Lives of American Young adults (Oxford College Push, 2007), which tells the story of the sexual values and methods of American teens, paying out specific attention to how taking part in organized religion shapes sexual determination-generating. Mark’s study and view parts have been highlighted in several media stores in the US and in other places. Forbidden Fruit has been reviewed in Slate, the Dallas Morning News, Atlanta Journal-Structure, and The New Yorker.
