Urge your state lawmakers to protect your Second Amendment rights

The Second Amendment to the Constitution is quite clear: “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” This right to self-defense was enshrined in the Bill of Rights to enable the American people to protect themselves both against violent men and government tyranny.

As Joseph Story, the longest serving associate justice on the Supreme Court, said, “The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered as the palladium of the liberties of a republic.”

That right is now under assault from government at all levels, including the federal government, which is considering alarming restrictions on law-abiding firearms owners.

Vice-President Joe Biden made it clear that even if Congress does not act, President Obama is prepared to unilaterally impose restrictions himself. Said Biden, “The president is going to act. There are executive orders, executive action that can be taken.”

Urge your state lawmakers to act now to protect Second Amendment rights in your state. Lawmakers in states like Wyoming are crafting legislation that would protect the rights of law-abiding gun-owners.

Our inalienable, God-given right to self-protection is under attack. Send a letter to your state lawmakers today.
