Dodge Ram hurls profanity-laced TV ad
Don’t let Dodge offend your family unchallenged…defend your values!
February 24, 2014
A profanity-laced commercial for the Dodge Ram pickup aired multiple times during Sunday’s Daytona 500 broadcast on Fox network, when millions of families with children were watching.
In the commercial, the announcer says, “A man will ask a lot of his truck. Will it tow that, haul this, make it all the way over the top of that? Well isn’t it nice to know that the answer will always be, ‘Hel- yes!'”
Dodge Ram’s use of profanity is irresponsible and offensive. It is extremely destructive and damaging to impressionable children viewing the commercial.
To be most effective, urge Dodge to pull this profanity-laced ad by taking the following actions:
• MOST EFFECTIVE: Politely contact your local Dodge dealer. Ask them to use their influence to urge the company to pull the offensive ad. Let them know the company is hurting their local dealership by offending customers.
• FACEBOOK USERS: Post your comment to Dodge’s Facebook page here –www.facebook.com/RamTrucks
• VERY EFFECTIVE: Speak directly to a customer representative by using the “Chat Now” feature on Ram’s website here (bottom of page) –www.ramtrucks.com/webselfservice/ram/index.html
• TWITTER USERS: Tweet this message: @RamTrucks drop the profanity from your ad!
